[Nine Stars = Reporter Choe Sun-hye] Lee Han-gyul and Nam Do-hyun (H&D) held a press showcase for the first mini-album ‘SOULMATE’ at 1 p.m. on the 21st at Shinhan Pan Square in Mapo-gu, Seoul.
H&D’s debut album SOULMATE starts with INTRO, which features powerful tone and storm rap, and double title GOOD NIGHT, which combines light energy, warm sensibility, and Nam Do-hyun’s own song, unfamiliar with sweet refrain, impressive melody, and clean vocals. It contains captivating ‘Make me another person’, lyrical fan song ‘Better tomorrow than today’.
SOULMATE is expected to show a different appearance with double title songs SOUL and GOOD NIGHT, which is raising expectations for its debut album.
Meanwhile, Lee Han-gyeol and Nam Do-hyun’s mini-album SOULMATE will be released on various online music sites at 6 pm on the 21st.

[나인스타즈=최선혜 기자] 이한결, 남도현(H&D)의 첫 번째 미니앨범 ‘SOULMATE’가 21일 공개돼 앨범 전곡 모두 높은 완성도로 호평을 얻고 있다.
음원 발표에 앞서 이한결, 남도현은 21일 오후 1시 서울 마포구 신한 판 스퀘어에서 프레스 쇼케이스를 열었다.
이 자리에서 이한결과 남도현은 코로나19로 예정보다 늦어진 컴백이지만 정식앨범으로 팬들을 만날 수 있어 기쁘다는 소감을 표했고 2명이서 무대를 채우게 되서 부담되지만 열심히 하겠다는 각오를 밝혔다.
‘SOUL’로 1위를 하게된다면 발음이 비슷한 ‘SEOUL’, 서울 광장에서 춤을 추겠다는 공약도 걸었다.
H&D의 데뷔앨범 ‘SOULMATE’는 파워풀한 음색과 폭풍 랩이 돋보이는 ‘INTRO’를 시작으로, 경쾌한 에너지로 가득한 타이틀곡 ‘SOUL’, 따뜻한 감성이 조화를 이루는 더블 타이틀 ‘GOOD NIGHT’, 감미로운 후렴구가 매력적인 남도현의 자작곡 ‘낯설어’, 멜로디가 인상적인 ‘빈손’, 청량한 보컬로 사로잡는 ‘날 다른 사람으로 만들어’, 서정적인 느낌의 팬송 ‘오늘보다 더 나은 내일’ 등이 담겨있다.
특히 이번 ‘SOULMATE’는 더블 타이틀곡 ‘SOUL’과 ‘GOOD NIGHT’으로 색다른 모습을 보여줄 것이라 밝혀 데뷔 앨범의 기대감도 증폭시키고 있다.
