[Nine Stars=Reporter Kim Dong-hoon] Yubin, a former member of Wonder Girls group, officially announced the comeback date on the 21st and join the comeback competition in May.
On the 11th, her agency Rrr Entertainment said, “Yubin will release a single album at 6 pm on the 21st and come back.”
This new album is only about seven months since the third solo album Start of the End last October.
Yubin, who made her debut as a group Wonder Girls in 2007, has been loved by many people for her girl crush charm as a rapper in the team.
She also released three solo albums, including solo songs ‘Lady’, ‘Thank U Soo Moo Much’ and ‘Silent Movie’, showing various aspects as an artist as well as singer-song writer ability.
In January, JYP Entertainment, which had been in a relationship for 13 years, concluded a beautiful farewell and established Rrr Entertainment, which is expected to show a restless move as a representative.
An agency official said “Unlike the album that she has shown in the meantime, she will show a song that will show her personality and emotion”.
Meanwhile, Yubin’s single album will be released on various online music sites at 6 pm on May 21.
유빈, 21일 컴백 확정…’걸크러쉬의 귀환’
[나인스타즈=김동훈 기자] 그룹 원더걸스 출신 유빈이 21일 컴백일을 공식화하고 5월 컴백 대전에 합류한다.
11일 소속사 르(rrr)엔터테인먼트는 “유빈이 오는 21일 오후 6시 싱글 앨범을 발매하고 컴백한다.”고 밝혔다.
이번 신보는 지난해 10월 세 번째 솔로 앨범 ‘Start of the End’ 이후 약 7개월여 만이다.
2007년 그룹 원더걸스로 데뷔한 유빈은 팀 내 래퍼로서 걸크러쉬 매력으로 많은 대중에게 사랑을 받아왔다.
또한 솔로곡 ‘숙녀’, ‘Thank U Soooo Much’, ‘무성영화’ 등 3장의 솔로 앨범을 발표하며 싱어송라이터의 능력은 물론 아티스트로서 다양한 면모를 보여줬다.
특히 지난 1월에는 13년간 동고동락했던 JYP엔터테인먼트와 아름다운 이별을 마무리하고 르(rrr) 엔터테인먼트를 설립해 대표로서 쉴 틈없는 행보를 보여 기대를 모은다.
소속사 관계자는 “그 동안 선보였던 앨범과는 다르게 본인의 개성과 감성을 한껏 담은 유빈다운 곡을 선보일 예정이다. “라며 귀띔해 어떠한 음악과 콘셉트로 새로운 음악을 선보일지 대중들의 관심이 증폭되고 있다.
한편 유빈의 싱글 앨범은 5월 21일 오후 6시, 각종 온라인 음원 사이트를 통해 공개된다.
